Privacy Policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
Steady is made by Jack Colombo. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: your training and diary data stay on your device, you don't create an account, and we don't track you.
Information kept on your device
Your sessions, levels, fitness test results, symptom diary, check-ins, reminders and settings are stored only on your phone or tablet. We don't receive them and can't see them. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We use RevenueCat to confirm whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives your purchase record and a random identifier for your installation. It does not receive your name, email address or any training or diary data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Apple Health and Health Connect
If you turn on health sync, Steady saves each finished session as a workout (start time and length) in Apple Health or Health Connect. Steady only writes this data and never reads your health data. You can turn it off at any time in the app or in your device's health settings. Health data is never used for advertising or shared with anyone.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your device. They are not sent from our servers.
Reports you share
If you create a progress report, the PDF is made on your device and only goes where you choose to send it.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics or tracking across apps or websites.
- We don't sell or share personal information.
Children
Steady is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
